ORAGIR.NEWS: Ararat Mirzoyan’s Wife No Longer Wants to Be a Queen — She Wants to Be Mistress of the Seas

Representatives of the “honest” people who once promised to take the trolleybus to work and struggled to pay off a vacuum cleaner in installments are now conquering new horizons of spending.

Thus, Gohar Abajyan, the wife of Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan, who, for reasons and by means unknown, was appointed director of the Investment Support Center Foundation, is presumably supposed to be engaged in attracting investment to Armenia.

Although there has been no news on that front, the expenses on official vehicles at the institution headed by Abajyan have reached astronomical figures: AMD 2.5 million has been allocated for the maintenance of just two cars, while AMD 390,000 has been allocated for car washing.

We should add that, like “any self-respecting Civil Contract member,” Gohar Abajyan has also decided to get her coffee money from us — that is, from the state budget — purchasing AMD 156,000 worth of coffee for that purpose.

P.S. Perhaps our surprise is misplaced, because if officials are not working, logically, they should drink coffee. But it would be better if they did not do so at our expense.
