The Artashat Municipality has signed a contract worth AMD 218,236,614 with “Garant Capital Stroy” LLC, whose director is Narek Baghdasaryan, a member of the “Civil Contract” faction of the Artashat Municipal Council. “Pastinfo” learned about this from documents published in official open sources. The mentioned amount is equivalent to USD 604,359.

According to a report by 168.am, on May 6, the municipal company purchased approximately 500,000 liters of diesel fuel at AMD 545 per liter, while the retail market price at the time was AMD 510–520 per liter. Moreover, this was a large-volume purchase, which under normal market conditions should have been priced below the retail price.
